The Palmetto Quail Club shooting preserve owned by Rodney Poston hosted a Gun Dog field trial on Saturday February 25th. The grounds were located near Pamlico, South Carolina. This was a 30 minute walking stake on a continuous course. A total of 23 dogs ran in 12 braces throughout the day. This was the 2nd largest field trial this year. Heavy rain by the 8th brace did not keep this trial from completion. Despite the rain the quail still flew well!
